Main Objective

HRC seeks to provide quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare services to the needy population in the rural and slum areas primarily targeting women, children and youth.

Specific Objectives

  1. To implement projects that enhance sustainable community development in Kenya
  2. To organize medical camps and community outreach programs targeting rural and marginalized populations.
  3. To collaborate with other like-minded organizations and institutions including NGOs, hospitals, corporates, governments, international partners, and such like to carry out services and the activities of the organization.
  4. Establish rescue posts or clinics in the rural areas to make access to quality healthcare within the reach of the needy populations.
  5. Carry out women empowerment activities, through mobilization, capacity building, skills enhancement and advocating for inclusion in decision making processes in family and community enabling them to become economically and socially independent.
  6. To seek and receive subscriptions, donations, grants, and other forms of support from persons, institutions or organizations both from the country and abroad and use the same for the purposes of the organization’s mission.

  4. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
  5. Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for adolescents, the youth and women
  6. HIV/AIDS – care and support for the chronically ill, PMTCT, and prevention.
  7. Medical Research
  8. Maternal new born child health (MNCH) e.g. neonatal survial and well-bieng, safe-motherhood, family planning and gender issues
  9. Non-communicable diseases (NCDs)
  10. Tropical and forgotten infections
  11. Capacity Building and empowerment e.g. micro-finance, social welfare
